Who says you have to be a blushing bride waltzing down the
aisle to get in on the bright white broiderie anglaise Spring 2012 trend. I
remember back in the days when this fabric was used HEAVILY throughout the lil'
gypsy fashion moment of the late 90's, you know the one, where everyone was
wearing off the shoulder balloon sleeve crop tops! Thank goodness that er,
trend (and I use the term ever so loosely here) passed over... note to self:
never. again!
Fast forward to 2012 and high end designers such as Louis
Vuitton, Celine and Dolce and Gabbana have prompted a mad rush of
high street retailers filling their rails with gorgeous dresses, blouses,
shirts made from this fresh, whimsical fabric....I for one am NOT complaining!
I'll be rocking my broiderie anglaise blouse with denim shorts this summer to
edge it up a little, how will you be wearing yours?
