Once again upon our "travels"....well a factory in London's East End this time! We've stumbled across yet another great find... this GORGE Louis Feraud Check Silk Oversize Blazer (Available in our ASOS Marketplace boutique)!!
Louis Feraud‘s (1920-1999) fashion career started when he
opened his first boutique in Cannes, France, in 1955. He struck the jackpot
when Brigitte Bardot bought one of his dresses.
He held his first runway show in 1960, after which his
clothes were carried in retail stores across the US ,
Canada and Europe.
In the 60s Feraud was known for his strikingly graphic mod
dresses and suit ensembles. His style softened in the 1970s, encapsulating “The
Gypsies” and by the 1980s, his designs were rather mainstream…
