SPOTS, STRIPES AND ALL THINGS NICE

Some people think that they are not up to the challenge of dressing up in spots or stripes but right now I am absolutely loving it! Wearing spots or stripes means that you can add an extra ooomph to your wardrobe, especially for the bold print shy! Afraid of going all over prints? that's cool why not try a cute pair of polka dot peg leg trousers... Scared the stripes won't suit your figure if you're a bit curvier? Noooo sweat vertical stripes in a looser pant will streamline your pins and even make you look a little taller if you're short... they're also a key trend for Autumn/Winter 2012 so what's not to love!

PRETTY PASTELS & GORGE PRINTS AT THE BELT CRAFT STUDIOS

Here at DollsMaison we're celebrating wrapping up yet another awesome ASOS shoot, quite frankly I think this may have been our best. so. far! Helped along by the fact it was held at the trendy and truly amazing Belt Craft Studios in North London - probably THE coolest place to hold a photo-shoot, like. EVER!!! 


Sugary sweet candy colours and tasty prints were the dish of the day and we were lovin' it!

Hey Dolls! Right now at DM we're pretty pumped for tomorrow's photo shoot in North London. Our number one aim is to bring you collection of vintage gems, bang on-trend with 2012 fashion! DOLLSMAISON LOVES THE 90S!

Remember the 90s? The decade of Keenan and Kel, beanie hats, Clueless, bum bags, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Limp Bizkit, Backstreet Boys, Britney before the breakdown, inflatable chairs, Rugrats, Thelma and Louise, Pulp Fiction, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Vanilla Ice, Courtney Love, The Matrix, Friends, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tony Blair, Gameboys, B*Witched. The list could go on and on. Don’t fret though, 90s fashion is as hot as ever right now, so dig out your Doc Martens, don your favourite cropped t-shirt and have a tie-dye party.

Hey readers! Now I don't know about you but for me Rihanna is my ULTIMATE girl crush! Her recent Vita Coco ad campaign has confirmed that for me, how insanely sexy does that girl look in that pineapple print bikini??!! If Vita Coco did this for Ri-Ri then I'm hot-footing it to my nearest outlet...pronto!

It's hot, it's cold, it's raining, it's dry...what the heck??!! Let's be honest the UK weather has ALWAYS been pretty unpredictable (and with that our wardrobes are all over the place!) but we as a nation can not blame Mother Nature for this one...we're simply not great at contingency planning!! Why not try layering?....When it's cold you can layer up to high heavens with as many tees, tops and cardis as you like, then if the temperature rises you can peel back those layers like a banana skin....simples!
